Credit Card For Bookings

We'll soon be requiring credit card details for bookings of 6 people and over. Unfortunately we've recently had a significant number of parties not show up for their booking without any notice. As a small restaurant this can have a huge impact and we're often turning away customers that we could have sat as a result. You will have until 5pm the day of your booking to notify us of a cancellation otherwise a $30 per person 'no show' fee will be charged. Any questions, give us a shout!

Information About Bookings

We hold a number of different sittings at Dogwood to accomodate as many people in the venue as we can, so no one misses out.

For the earlier sittings, the table is all yours for 2 hours, which for our style of food and service is heaps of time.

If you book for a later sitting, you can keep the booze and banter flowing until last call. If you're bringing kids, you'll need to book for our earlier sitting. Read more below about bringing kids to Dogwood below.

We are a bar as well as a restaurant so all minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Important Info Regarding Kids

Prams & Highchairs

The team at Dogwood love kids! Unfortunately, we just don't have the space for prams. We're required to ensure the safety of both our guests and staff, and while you're absolutely welcome to bring kids, we just can't fit prams safely between our tables.
We have a couple of booster seats and just 1 high chair available so make sure you mention it in your booking notes. If your baby isn't at the age of being able to hold up their own noggin, bring along a capsule and we'll grab you an extra seat for the table to put it on.
If your kids are on the move, we just ask that you help us out by keeping the kids at the table with you so that our wait staff have clear paths between our tables.
We are a licensed venue so all minors need to be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Booking Times

Dogwood is a restaurant but also a bar. We welcome kids in the venue while also trying to create an awesome atmosphere for adults and give parents a chance to have date night without the little ones. For this reason, we reserve our later sittings on Fridays and Saturdays for adults only. So if you have young kids who require supervision, we prefer if you can book the earlier sittings.

Kids Menu

We don't have a kids menu... but lets be honest, our whole menu is basically a kids menu for adults!! We serve burgers, chips and fried chicken (basically big chicken nuggets). If your little ones have simpler tastes, just ask one of our staff and we can whip them up something plain and we're happy to help.

Can't Get A Table?

Our booking system only allows you to book if you're requested time is more than 1 hour away.
We don't take reservations after we open for service so your best bet is to book at least 1 hour before your requested time, or just rock up and cross your fingers we have something available!
